Hey, guys. In today’s video, I want to talk to you about how to use a booking calendar as part of your marketing system.

Discovery calls.

Ultimately no matter what you sell, so SEO, PPC, Facebook Ads, copy, website design, it really doesn’t matter.

Ultimately your marketing system likely wants to capture leads and then nurture those leads to the point where they’re ready to buy your service from you and then move them off your site, onto a phone call or discovery call where you can understand what their problems are and make sure it’s a fit for the service that you offer.

Here’s a visualization of your marketing system in play.

Now we all do this a little bit differently, but ultimately this is what most companies, most consultants, most people selling marketing services are doing. Their website is designed to bring traffic to it. You can bring it via blog, podcast, video, article, an ad. It doesn’t really matter. Somebody lands on your website to look at the service that you offer.

You squeeze them through a landing page. You capture their information. You put that information in your autoresponder and you’re generally nurturing them, sending out value, ultimately trying to heat them up to that point where they’re 8, 9 or 10 in terms of likeliness to want to do business with you.

That’s when you want to push them to that discovery call.

This is where a booking calendar adds to your marketing system. It’s really something that you want to look at having because it makes it really easy to move people through in an automated fashion without you being involved.

All right. I’ve looked at many options. There’s tons of them out there.

Ultimately I personally tried two different calendars, and

I prefer Book Like A Boss.

What you’ll see here is it allows you to brand the page for your company.

It gives you the opportunity to add as many kind of events or times that you’d want to make available for people to be able to book you for. It gives you all types of functionality.

I’m not going to be able to go into all the functionality in this video because really if I convince you that this is something that you should incorporate in into your business, I’m going to give you the resources you need to see what you can do with it.

Ultimately what I wanted to show you is it’s just a really nice interface.

It’s professional and it allows you to send people through your automated marketing system.

Ultimately when they’re ready to jump on that call, this allows them to go in and be able to book exactly when you’re available and it integrates into either your Google Calendar or your Outlook Calendar, wherever you’re keeping your availability, so that it’s always up to date.

There’s many benefits to using this. Like I said, it’s an easy way to allow prospects or clients to book you when they’re ready and you’re available.

It eliminates all of that going back and forth. Really automates this process.

It pre-frames you as a professional because you’re not having to go back and forth on email.

You’re able to drop your calendar link and they go there.

Again like I said, there’s tons of videos out there on YouTube that can show you how to do this.

What I’ve done is I pulled together a step-by-step guide for each of these.

This is something that we offer to clients. I wanted to have a step-by-step process in place to show clients that this is a really easy thing for them to set up.

I want to encourage you to look at offering this as a service to your existing clients or as a tripwire for new clients. Because this is something that can benefit them tremendously.

If your client is somebody who books appointments, which if they’re in business, there’s a good chance that they would, there are certainly other businesses that are way more likely.

If you think about real estate agents, massage therapists, or any kind of psychologist, anybody that’s booking clients on a regular basis and needs to give them the ability to see their calendar, this is a great way to do it.

It would allow you to incorporate Stipe or PayPal for payments, at least Book Like A Boss does. It’s certainly a huge value for your clients.

If you decide you want to do it, you can use it like I said as an up sell for your existing clients or as a tripwire for new clients because it’s really easy to set up.

It’s really a professional product. The free version allows you a lot of functionality.

If you decide you want to upgrade to a paid version, it’s only $9 a month for most of these programs. It really does give you quite a bit of functionality for that $9.
